Production environments move quickly. Proper preparation, clear communication and accurate vehicle information help protect your vehicle while allowing production teams to work efficiently.
These guidelines are intended to help vehicle owners understand what may be expected before, during and after a production booking.

INFORMATION UPDATED.
Production teams may make decisions based on the information and photographs contained in your OCC vehicle registration.
If your vehicle changes substantially, OCC should be notified so the registry accurately represents its current appearance and condition.

VEHICLE PHOTOGRAPHS
CURRENT
Use recent photographs that accurately show the vehicle as it currently appears.
CLEAR
Use well-lit photographs that clearly show the vehicle's exterior, interior and important details.
ACCURATE
Avoid photographs that conceal significant damage, modifications or major differences in appearance.
Clean, straightforward photographs are often more useful to a production team than heavily edited, filtered or stylized images.

DATES
Confirm the production date or dates.
LOCATION
Understand where the vehicle will be used.
VEHICLE USE
Determine whether the vehicle will be static or driven.
DRIVERS
Confirm who may operate the vehicle.
TRANSPORTATION
Confirm how the vehicle will arrive and return.
COMPENSATION
Understand the agreed rate and applicable expenses.
INSURANCE
Confirm required insurance documentation.
SPECIAL USE
Ask about rigging, decals, talent driving or unusual activity.
PREPARING YOUR VEHICLE
PRESENT THE VEHICLE
PRODUCTION-READY.
Unless instructed otherwise, your vehicle should arrive clean, operational and reasonably prepared for its intended production use.
Clean exterior

Proper tire pressure
Reasonable fuel or battery charge level
No known critical mechanical problems
Required keys and remotes available
Personal belongings removed
Alarm and security procedures understood
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
REMOVE PERSONAL AND
VALUABLE ITEMS.
Remove valuables, documents, electronics, garage remotes, personal identification, cash and other unnecessary belongings before releasing your vehicle for production use.
Unless specifically needed for the production, the vehicle should be delivered without unnecessary personal property.
DOCUMENT VEHICLE CONDITION

KEEP A RECORD.
Before your vehicle is handed over or transported, consider documenting its current condition with photographs or video.
Pay particular attention to wheels, bumpers, splitters, body panels, glass, interior surfaces and other areas that may be vulnerable to damage.

AGREE ON TRANSPORTATION
BEFORE THE SHOOT.
Transportation requirements vary according to the vehicle, location and production. Confirm the transportation arrangement before the vehicle is released.

PROFESSIONAL TOWING
Exotic, collector, custom, low-clearance and high-value vehicles may require specialized loading procedures or enclosed transport. Communicate these requirements before transportation is arranged.
KEYS, ACCESS & SECURITY
MAKE ACCESS
REQUIREMENTS CLEAR.
Provide only the keys, remotes or access devices reasonably necessary for the approved production use.
If your vehicle has unusual starting procedures, battery disconnects, air suspension controls, immobilizers, hidden switches, transmission procedures or other special operating requirements, explain them before the vehicle is used.
Do not assume that production personnel will know how to operate a modified, specialty or exotic vehicle.
DRIVING & OPERATION
KNOW WHO IS DRIVING
YOUR VEHICLE.
If driving is required, confirm who is authorized to operate the vehicle before production begins.
Owners may communicate reasonable restrictions concerning vehicle operation, particularly for specialty, modified, collector or high-value vehicles.
SPECIAL & HIGH-RISK USE
NEVER ASSUME THESE
ACTIVITIES ARE INCLUDED.
If the production proposes activity substantially different from what you originally approved, request clarification before allowing the changed use.
RIGGING, DECALS & MODIFICATIONS
NOTHING ATTACHED
WITHOUT APPROVAL.
Camera mounts, suction devices, rigging, tape, adhesives, vinyl, decals, temporary graphics, lighting equipment and other equipment should not be attached to your vehicle unless the proposed use has been approved.
Likewise, no vehicle component should be removed, altered, drilled, cut, painted or modified without authorization.
If your vehicle has sensitive paint, ceramic coating, PPF, vinyl wrap, carbon-fiber components or custom finishes, communicate that information before equipment or materials are placed on the vehicle.
ON PRODUCTION DAY
ARRIVE ON TIME
Allow enough time for check-in, parking, unloading or other production procedures.
FOLLOW PRODUCTION INSTRUCTIONS
Follow applicable location, safety and production procedures.
IDENTIFY YOUR CONTACT
Know who is responsible for coordinating your vehicle during the production.
COMMUNICATE CONCERNS
Raise vehicle-related concerns before an activity occurs, not after.
BE FLEXIBLE
Production schedules can change and waiting periods are common.
OWNER ATTENDANCE
YOU MAY NOT ALWAYS
NEED TO REMAIN ON SET.
Whether you remain with the vehicle depends on the production, vehicle and booking arrangement.
Some productions may request or permit an owner or vehicle attendant to remain available, particularly when a vehicle requires specialized knowledge or supervision.
Confirm attendance requirements before the production date.
DAMAGE OR INCIDENTS
DOCUMENT IT.
REPORT IT.
If your vehicle is involved in a collision, damaged or experiences another significant incident, notify the appropriate production representative and OCC promptly.
Photograph the affected area and preserve relevant information regarding the incident whenever reasonably possible.
Do not authorize substantial repairs or dispose of damaged components related to a claim without first considering any applicable insurance or documentation requirements.
AFTER PRODUCTION
INSPECT BEFORE

When reasonably possible, inspect your vehicle after production use or upon its return.

IF YOU'RE UNSURE,
ASK FIRST.
Clear communication protects both vehicle owners and production teams.
If you do not understand how your vehicle will be used, transported, operated or modified, ask for clarification before authorizing the activity.
AVAILABILITY & CANCELLATIONS
Once you accept a confirmed booking, make reasonable efforts to keep the vehicle available for the agreed production dates.
If you or the vehicle become unavailable, contact OCC as soon as possible. Early notice gives the production the best opportunity to adjust its plans or locate another vehicle.
Production schedules may also change. Revised dates remain subject to your availability and the applicable booking terms.

Every vehicle is different. Specialty, collector, exotic, modified and historically significant vehicles may require additional handling instructions or restrictions.
Communicate those requirements before accepting a booking so OCC and the production can properly plan for your vehicle.
